ممثل مصري. ولد في حي الموسكي، ودرس في الكلية الجوية وتخرج فيها في عام 1955، عمل بعدها طيارًا حربيًا. كانت أول بطولة سينمائية له من خلال فيلم (الحقيقة العارية) وهو أول فيلم يتعاون من خلاله مع الفنانة ماجدة الصباحي، وبلغت حصيلة أعماله الفنية 20 فيلمًا فقط، منها (للرجال فقط، الراهبة، القبلة الأخيرة، النداهة، دموع صاحبة الجلالة).
