مخرج مصري، التحق بكلية الطب البيطري، ثم التحق بعدها بالتليفزيون،و عمل في البرامج التعليمية بالإذاعة، وفى الستينيات أخرج العديد من القصص المقررة على مراحل التعليم المختلفة مثل (يوميات مدرسة)، عمل أيضاً مع محمد سالم في فوازير ثلاثي أضواء المسرح لمدة 12 عاماً، من أبرز أعماله (فارس بلا جواد، يوميات ونيس، الهمجي)، وافته المنية عام 2004.
