مخرج مصري، ولد في مدينة الإسكندرية في عام 1966، تخرج من المعهد العالي للسينما، وعين بعدها كمعيد في المعهد، وحاز على درجة الدكتوراة في مجال اﻹخراج. عمل كمساعد مخرج مع عدد من المخرجين البارزين من بينهم الراحل يوسف شاهين وعلي بدرخان. أخرج أول أفلامه الطويلة (كذلك في الزمالك) في عام 2002، وتلاها بأفلام (كلم ماما، أريد خلعًا، كتكوت، بون سواريه)
