مخرج مصري، بدأ حياته الفنية كمساعد مخرج في العديد من الأعمال في أواخر الثمانينات والتسعينيات منها (ساكن قصادي، الغول)، وقام أيضاً بإخراج عدة أفلام قصيرة والمسلسلات، قبل أن يخوض تجربة إخراج أول فيلم روائي طويل من خلال فيلم (علمني الحب) عام 2005، لتتوالى أعماله بعد ذلك والتي من أبرزها (هبة رجل الغراب، بنت بنوت).
