مخرج ومنتج مصري. حصل على ليسانس الآداب من جامعة القاهرة في عام 1954، ثم إتجه إلى العمل بالإخراج التلفزيوني، وتخصص طيلة حياته في الدراما التلفزيونية، فقدم مسلسلات (الفلاح، اللص والكلاب، غريب في المدينة، أحزان نوح، بوابة الحلواني)، وأخرج للسينما فيلمي (ثلاث قصص، أسعد الله مساءك). توفي في عام 2003 عن عمر يناهز 71 عامًا.
