Narrow Lane

Set deep within the labyrinthine alleyways of working-class Cairo, Narrow Lane (Harat Maznouqa) plunges into the chaotic lives of three young men trapped in the universal modern purgatory: educated, ambitious, and completely broke. Struggling to make ends meet amidst economic stagnation and family expectations, the trio’s mounting desperation makes them easy targets in an unforgiving urban jungle where dignity is increasingly priced out. Enter Haidy (Ola Ghanem), an alluring, razor-sharp femme fatale who spots the trio’s vulnerability from a mile away. Offering an enticing bypass around the daily grind, she enlists the desperate slackers into high-risk, illicit operations disguised as fast-track wealth. As the blunders pile up and the gravity of their newfound underworld ties sets in, the boys realize that maneuvering Cairo's tightest backstreets is child's play compared to surviving a deal gone wrong.
