Saboba

In the chaotic underbelly of Cairo, an opportunistic crew of small-time crooks, grifters, and muscle gather to pull off what promises to be the ultimate 'saboba'—Egyptian slang for a quick, lucrative score. Lured by the promise of effortless riches, the mismatched ensemble launches an ambitious heist, only for the operation to shatter into violent pandemonium when law enforcement ambushes the scene, forcing the surviving criminals to retreat to an isolated hideout. Cut off from the outside world and nursing bullet wounds, paranoia rapidly metastasizes inside their secret sanctuary. As recriminations fly and blood pools on the floor, the crew realizes the ambush was too precise to be mere bad luck: one of them is an informant. Trapped in a ticking-clock pressure cooker, every sidelong glance becomes a death sentence as loyalties fracture before the authorities close in.
