Orphan

Devastated by the tragic loss of their unborn child, Kate and John Coleman decide to open their hearts and luxurious suburban home to an adoptive child. At a local orphanage, they find themselves immediately captivated by Esther, a poised, polite, and exceptionally cultured nine-year-old girl with an affinity for painting and an old-world wardrobe. Believing she will complete their fractured family, they welcome her with open arms, hoping to heal Kate's lingering grief and sobriety battles. However, Esther’s delicate ribbon-wearing facade quickly begins to fracture once she enters the Coleman household. Subtly manipulative acts escalate into dangerous psychological warfare against Kate and the children, while John remains stubbornly blind to his new daughter's malevolence. What starts as a sensitive family drama descends rapidly into a suffocating game of survival, where maternal instinct clashes against an unprecedented domestic nightmare.
